FAQ's on our Automatic Quotation System
How accurate is our automatic quotation system?
Our Automatic Quotation System is designed to be as accurate as possible. We have used our 21 years' experience in dealing with translations to produce a system, which gives you a reliable indication of the likely costs and delivery deadlines. It is however only an indication!
How accurate are the prices in the automatic quotation system?
Until such times as we actually see your document and establish the exact nature of the subject matter, the degree of difficulty and the type of formatting used, it is not possible to give you a final binding quotation. Although RTF, Text or MS Word files are often easy to deal with, PDFs, PowerPoint and Excel files can sometimes be very labour intensive indeed. The file format can often affect the price as can the type of text and its intrinsic degree of difficulty.
How accurate are the projected deliveries in our automatic quotation system?
Whilst we always use expert translators selected for their understanding of your type of text it is clear that some documents take longer to translate than others. Basic business correspondence can be very straightforward, but legal, technical, scientific or medical texts can sometimes be very difficult to understand even in their original untranslated versions. This has to be taken into account when estimating delivery deadlines.
If I choose not to use your automatic quotation system will I need to send you my document before receiving a free of charge quotation?
YES, we can only provide you with a binding free of charge quotation after first studying your document.
How and to whom do I send my document?
